A Little About Me:

My name is Scot Alan McGiveron and I am 32 years old. I was born and raised in Lake Worth, Florida. I had a
few years in Fayetteville, Arkansas where I attended University of Arkansas. I returned home for a short while
and attended Florida Atlantic University. I then moved to Orlando in 1996. I attended and graduated from
University of Central Florida in 1998. I now live in beautiful Westminster, Colorado (northwest Denver metro area).
I moved to Colorado in August of 1999.
I have taught local color guards, winter guards, drum lines and percussion ensembles in Colorado, Kentucky
and Florida from 1994 to 2006. I was even a substitute music teacher for some local elementary and high
schools in 2003. From 2001 to 2003 I sang in the Denver Gay Men's Chorus. In the fall of 2006, I rejoined the
chorus and have absolutely loved it!!! I have worked in accounting departments, customer service departments,
a department store, 2 hotels and yes, even a grocery store!
I am a 2005 graduate of the Professional Massage Therapy Program at the Denver School of Massage Therapy.
I am currently pursuing a career in massage therapy. I have opened a massage therapy clinic with two of my
former classmates (see My Private Practice page). Also in October of 2006, I started working at DSMT as a
teaching assistant.
I have been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association since October of 2005. I am First
Aid and CPR Certified as of May 2005. I have over 2000 hours of professional massage and bodywork experience
since July 2005. I have over 10 years of customer service, accounting and managerial experience.

I marched with Signature Color Guard during the
2004 winter season (Sept 03 - Apr 04). We placed 19th in the
Independent World Class at WGI World Championships in San Diego, CA.

On a summer trip in 2000 with Tom,
around Aspen and the Colorado River.
At EPCOT Center after I graduated from
University of Central Florida in December of 1998.
Touch of Intuition's marketing ideas to teachers and administrators at local
schools was to provide chair massage at their school at a reduced rate.
